16 Nabbed In New Haven Area Sex Offender Operation
16 sex offenders were arrested for issues related to non-compliance, according to the U.S. Marshals Service

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police and U.S. Marhsals arrested 16 convicted sex offenders for non-compliance in a recent New Haven area operation. Four of the individuals were already in custody, 11 were arrested Thursday and one was arrested prior to the operation.
Its the seventh joint operation between U.S. Marshals and New Haven Police since 2011. Thursday marked more than 100 individuals being arrested in joint operations.
U.S. Marhsals are the primary federal agency to locate and arrest non-compliant offenders who must notify law enforcement of things such as a change of address.
