18-Year-Old Shot After Sunday Orchard Street Argument: Police
Two men were arguing, police said, and a few minutes later, gunshots were heard and a teen with gunshot injuries was found: NHPD

NEW HAVEN, CT — Patrol officers responded Sunday just before 6 p.m. to the 600 block of Orchard Street for a ShotSpotter alert.
"With assistance from the community, officers determined that there was an argument between two men just prior to the gunshots," police said. "Several minutes later, officers located a shooting victim in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Charles Street."
The victim, an 18-year-old from New Haven, was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, cops said.
