2-Year-Old Found Wandering Streets, Babysitter Charged: Report
A woman has been arrested after a 2-year-old was found wandering the streets over the weekend.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A woman was arrested after the 2-year-old boy she was babysitting was found wandering the streets, according to a WTNH report. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. Saturday when a concerned citizen called police regarding a child found at the intersection of Valley and East Ramsdell streets.
Ericka James, 27, was the child's babysitter and told police that she fell asleep when the child wandered away. She was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor, WTNH reported.
