2019 New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade Guide
Here's what you need to know about the parade route, parking, timing and more for the March 10 parade.

NEW HAVEN, CT — The Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade 2019 kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Sunday March 10 at Chapel Street and Sherman Avenue.
The parade continues on Chapel Street and turns left onto Church Street then down to Grove and Orange streets.
Most streets close at 11 a.m. with Church, to Chapel to Grove streets closing around 6 a.m. The muster area that is one block on either side of Chapel Street between Sherman Avenue and Norton Street is also closed to non-parade traffic.

Streets generally open soon after the parade passes.
The parade is free and is the largest single-day spectator event in Connecticut.

Portable toilets are set along the parade route and city for the day.
Parking is available at the Air Rights, Crown Street, Temple Street, Temple Medical, Granite Square, and Union Station garages and in select Yale lots.
Public drinking outside of licensed establishments is forbidden. Police will issue citations for those found to be violating the rules.
