3 New Haven Men Shot In 2 Incidents
Three New Haven men were shot in two incidents over the weekend.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Two weekend shootings resulted in three New Haven men being hospitalized, according to police. The first was a double shooting Saturday at around 6:55 p.m. on Winter Street and Goffe Street in Dixwell.
Police arrived to find two gunshot victims in the rear yard of a home. A 20-year-old man had been shot in the leg and a 21-year-old man had been shot in the arm, side of his torso, thigh, and leg.

Ambulances transported the victims with non-life threatening injuries to the hospital.

Two days before the double shooting, a 33-year-old New Haven man was shot multiple times on Winter Street. It is unknown if the Thursday and Saturday incidents are related.
The second incident of the weekend occurred Saturday just after 9:00 p.m. A gunshot victim arrived by private vehicle at Yale New Haven Hospital. The 19-year-old man had been shot in the hand.
Police learned the shooting occurred in the area of Fulton Terrace and Forbes Avenue in the Annex section of New Haven.
