NEW HAVEN, CT — Update: The 13-year-old girl's injury was "determined not to have been caused by a bullet," police said.

Update: Police confirmed that one male victim is 19 years old; the second male victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and the third victim is a 13-year-old female who sustained a graze wound, police said. Both men received life-threatening wounds, they added.

Just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night, three people were shot on Judson Street, with two suffering life-threatening injuries, New Haven police said.

Initially, police said officers were on the scene in the West River section of town with one gunshot victim in the 50-block of Judson.

But soon after, in a post on "X," police amended that to a total of three people shot.
