NEW HAVEN, CT — Around 9 p.m. Monday, cops were called to the area of Del Rio Drive in Fair Haven for a "threatening complaint" from a 20-year-old woman, police said.
She reported to officers that while walking, she saw a woman she'd had prior altercations with driving by and, police said, "attempted to strike the victim with her car by driving the wrong way onto the sidewalk in reverse, then attempted to strike her a second time."
Cops located R'Eona Joyner, 19, of New Haven, took her into custody, and charged her with first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, three counts of breach of peace, and motor vehicle/traffic infractions.
Joyner was released on a $75,000 bond.
