NEW HAVEN, CT — A 14-year-old New Haven boy is missing and police hope the community can help authorities locate him.

Last seen Friday, May 29, at Wilbur Cross High School, Jaevon Sowell is 5' 9" to 5' 10" tall and weighs approximately 150-160 pounds. He has black, natural hair and brown eyes. Jaevon has a scar on the left side of his upper lip. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black Nike tech hoodie, black jeans, a black knit hat, and red Nike Jordan #5 sneakers.
