Beginning Sunday, June 14, There's A New Market In Town

NEW HAVEN, CT — Beginning Sunday, June 14, there's a new market in town. On the New Haven Green.

The new event series, Sunday Markets on the New Haven Green, will be twice a month through Sept. 20.

On the Upper Green on the corner of College and Chapel streets from noon to 4 p.m., the markets will feature 20 cottage food and artist vendors, including Sanctuary Kitchen, CitySeed's incubator kitchen.

There will also be crafts to create with local art groups, various exercise classes, including yoga, and lawn and board games. And there will be information about downtown and citywide programs like composting.
