New Haven police Special Victims and missing persons units of the police department are seeking information on Derrick Hirscht's whereabouts. He has autism, and a history of anxiety and mental health challenges. (NHPD)

NEW HAVEN, CT —Derrick Hirscht, 50, was last seen walking west on Edgewood Avenue toward Edgewood Park just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

New Haven police Special Victims and missing persons units of the police department are seeking information on his whereabouts.

He has autism, and a history of anxiety and mental health challenges.

Hirscht is a white male, stands 5 feet nine inches to 5 feet, 10 inches, weighs 195 to 210 pounds. He has salt and pepper hair and was wearing white headphones, a black ball cap, a blue polo shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
