From New Haven Public Schools:
NEW HAVEN, CT — Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone for some truly remarkable high school seniors.
A massive congratulations to the students from Wilbur Cross, Hillhouse, and Career high schools who have officially graduated from the Yale New Haven Hospital Center for EMS' Emergency Medical Technician program.
There are 29 graduates in total and 100 percent passed the internal certification exams. They are currently in the process of taking the state exams for certification.
A Year of Pure Dedication
For a full school year, these incredible seniors balanced their high school classes, homework, and teenage lives with the intense, rigorous demands of EMT training.
They didn't just take a course—they committed themselves to a path of saving lives, putting in countless hours of studying, hands-on practice, and hard work to earn their certifications.
We could not be prouder of their grit, determination, and passion for helping others.
The future of healthcare and emergency medicine is looking incredibly bright thanks to all of you.
