NEW HAVEN, CT — A 34-year-old New Haven resident was killed in a motorcycle crash early Saturday, police said.
At 5:43 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of State Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident with major injuries.
Police found a three-wheeled motorcycle crashed into the gate of a building on State Street with a man under it, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The initial investigation indicated that the motorcycle was traveling south on State Street before the crash, which might have happened several hours earlier, police said.
No other vehicle was involved, police said.
