NEW HAVEN, CT — The Puerto Ricans United, Inc. 2026 Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven kicks off Friday night with a concert on the Green and a full-day festival Saturday.
Mayor Justin Elicker joined Puerto Ricans United to kick off and preview the 2026 Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven with a flag-raising ceremony on the New Haven Green.
The 2026 Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven (Festival Puertorriqueño de New Haven), the Elm City's annual celebration of Puerto Rican culture, is scheduled for this Friday, August 7th, from 6 to 9 pm with a concert and Saturday, August 9th, from 1 to 9 pm for the all-day festival.
This year marks the festival's 10th anniversary.
The Friday night concert and Saturday daylong festival will include several live musical performances, dancing, food trucks, vendors, family activities, and more.
