NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police were called to West Hills at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday night for a reported shooting.

Two men were shot in a backyard of a residence in the Judson Avenue and Mead Street area, according to New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart.

One was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, Bruckhart said.
