NEW HAVEN, CT—Update: power has been restored and roadways are open.

According to a Yale Public Safety alert at around 4:20 p.m., the power is out in the area of 2 Science Park and 25 Science Park due to a transformer fire.

Winchester Avenue is closed from Munson Street to Division Street.
