EAST HAVEN, CT — The snowy streets of Victorian London will surround audiences this December as Cabaret on Main Theater presents an immersive, one-man production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, running December 18–20, 2026.

Actor Patrick Spadaccino portrays 25 characters during the 90-minute performance, transforming from Ebenezer Scrooge into Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the mysterious spirits who guide Scrooge through a Christmas Eve he will never forget.

The production pairs live storytelling with the theater's signature 280-degree immersive projections, transporting audiences to London in 1843. As Scrooge confronts his past, present, and possible future, the setting unfolds around the audience, bringing an added dimension to Dickens' beloved holiday tale.

At its heart, A Christmas Carol is a story about second chances. Its humor, ghostly encounters, and tender moments follow a man who discovers that it is never too late to reconnect with others—and that generosity can change more than one life.

For families and friends looking to spend meaningful time together during the holiday season, the production offers an opportunity to experience a familiar classic in a distinctive, intimate theater setting right here in East Haven.

Audiences can choose Premium Cabaret table seating, with the option to bring their own food and beverages, or Standard Theatre seating.
