Anti-Police, Gov. Malloy Vandalism Left in New Haven
Police called the vandalism "particularly disturbing."

NEW HAVEN, CT—Police are investigating vandalism that was left on a police substation and another building in the city.
A vandal left messages on the substation at the Bella Vista elderly housing complex and on 405 Foxon Boulevard, which houses an Indian restaurant, immigration office, tax office and other businesses.
Police responded around 8:52 a.m. to Foxon Boulevard on Oct. 10. All the first floor windows and glass doors were shattered and swastikas and anti-police markings were found on a painted wood fence, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

"The search is on for the person responsible," he said. "Detectives are hoping to retrieve an identifying image from the building’s surveillance cameras. One witness said he heard the vandal sometime between two and three o’clock this morning but couldn’t provide anything more than the perp wore dark colored clothing."
