Aziz Ansari Performing In New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — Comedian Aziz Ansari will perform his Working Out New Material show Sept. 25 at the College Street Music Hall.

Ansari is doing several comedy tours across the country. They are the first shows since he was accused by an anonymous woman of being pressured into having sex, according to CNN. Ansari released a public statement after the article came out and said the sex was completely consensual, but that he was surprised and concerned when he learned from her she was uncomfortable with what transpired.

Ansari starred on TV show Parks and Recreation and created Netflix comedy series Masters of None, which has won three Emmy awards and a Golden Globe.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show will take place at 7 p.m. Tickets are about $40.
