UPDATE: 'Evading' Driver Who Struck, Critically Injured Bicyclist On Grasso Blvd. In Custody: NHPD
Tuesday afternoon on Grasso near Printers Lane, a now-in-custody hit-and-run driver struck a man on a bike, now in critical condition: NHPD.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A man struck by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday is in critical but stable condition, police said.
And police have a man in custody, identified as the driver, according to New Haven police spokesperson Officer Christain Bruckhart.
Closed for hours, Grasso between Columbus Avenue and Adeline Street is now reopened.

Around 1 p.m. Tuesday, in the area of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Printers Lane, a vehicle struck, and seriously injured, a person riding a bicycle, police said.

Police described the scene as "evading collision with a bicyclist who sustained serious injuries."
Grasso is closed between Columbus Avenue and Adeline Street, while police investigate.
