Bishop Woods School Briefly Locked Down After BB Gun Report: District
A student at the school reported that another student had a BB gun. Staff "confiscated the unloaded weapon without incident," official said.
NEW HAVEN, CT —A student at Bishop Woods School reported having seen another student with a BB gun Wednesday morning, according to New Haven Public Schools spokesperson Justin Harmon.
Harmon said school staff "confiscated the unloaded weapon without incident."
"There was no danger to students and staff, though the school was briefly on lockdown as a precaution," Harmon said.

New Haven police responded to the school, he said. As of Wednesday early afternoon, "school has resumed as usual," Harmon said.
