Body Pulled From Pond In New Haven Park
Emergency responders recovered a man's body from a duck pond in Edgewood Park Saturday morning.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A body was recovered from an icy duck pond in Edgewood Park Saturday morning, according to reports on various media outlets.
Police and firefighters were called by a passerby to the park on Chapel Street, between Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Yale Ave., around 8:46 a.m, according to WFSB-TV. A water rescue team from the fire department located and removed a man from the pond, but he was pronounced dead at Yale New Haven Hospital, WTNH-TV reported.
