"Antoine-Joseph will play a pivotal role in the success of the elementary school’s next stage as she leads scholars and staff with her palpable passion for learning, growing, and gratitude."
Antoine-Joseph’s educational philosophy, according to the Academy, is "that every child can learn when given an environment where they feel safe, nurtured, loved and empowered."
She said, "Two things matter most" to her: That students are excited about coming to school, and that the right educators are teaching our students. She said she believes “this work is all about heart,” and is intent on creating “a genuine sense of community and togetherness,” just like the one she felt growing up in Ti Rocher, a town in the Micoud District of the island of Saint Lucia.
