Boutique Hotel Opens In New Haven
The 108-room hotel is part of a trend of smaller boutique hotels that offer upscale accomodations.
NEW HAVEN, CT — The Blake Hotel in New Haven is scheduled to have a grand opening next week with some customers already booking rooms this week.
The 108-room hotel is located on High Street with rooms going for $250+ per night, according to the New Haven Independent.
The Blake is named after Alice Blake, the first female graduate of Yale Law School, according to the hotel's website.

Adjoining restaurant Hamilton Park is run by Michelin-star chef Matt Lambert. It focuses on locally-sourced American food.
Several other hotels have been proposed in the city including a Hilton Garden Inn on Elm Street and a 165-room hotel at the old Pirelli Building on Sargent Drive.
