Penrhyn+Rod Cook returned to Africa in 2025 for the fourth time and expected the familiar thrill of the bush, but not to fall so deeply under its spell all over again. It was Namibia, a magnificent country woven from a tapestry of nature, culture, and history which made that trip stand apart from previous African adventures. Scenery ranged from the extraterrestrial landscape of the world's oldest desert, to fog-cloaked shores of the Skeleton Coast to the salt pans of Etosha National Park, a sanctuary for wildlife that has miraculously adapted to the harsh, arid conditions. The unique quality of the Cooks’ images is achieved by incorporating layers of texture into the final prints.
