Wanted Man Crashes Car Into Gate At Tweed Airport: Report
The car was being pursued by police Tuesday morning. The accused is wanted on several charges including sexual assault, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — It was a scary situation at Tweed New Haven Airport Tuesday morning when a car crashed into a gate at the airport as the driver was trying to avoid being caught by New Haven police, NBC Connecticut reports.
The driver, who was identified as Alphonzo Dixon, 31, of Hamden, is wanted for several crimes including sexual assault, assault and domestic violence offenses, NBC CT reports.
Dixon also crashed into a cop car and the airport was briefly closed Tuesday. Dixon made it back onto the highway and an arrest was finally made at the Amity Shopping Center in Woodbridge. He is facing several charges.
