Car Goes Off I-91 In New Haven, Lands At Underpass: Report

Serious injuries have been reported, state police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A car reportedly left the highway and landed at an underpass Monday night, according to WTNH News 8 and state police.

In an email to Patch, state police said at 11:55 p.m. Monday, Troopers from Troop I responded to a report of a vehicle rollover that went down an embankment on I-91 South in the area of Exit 4.

Serious injuries were reported. Two people were transported to an area hospital. CARS is on scene to assist. The highway has been reopened.
