Car Stolen With Child Inside In New Haven

A car was stolen with a two-year-old child still inside on Sunday. The child was later found.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A car was stolen with a two-year-old still inside the vehicle, according to The New Haven Register. The child was later located on Beers Street but the car is still being searched for.

The incident occurred 3:30 p.m. Sunday outside a Chapel Street restaurant. The child's mother stopped to pick up food from a restaurant and left her car running.

A thief drove away with the child still inside, according to The Register.
