City Health Dept. Vaccine Clinics For Ages 5-11 Start Next Week

Clinics are next Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. "No one without insurance will be denied a shot."

NEW HAVEN, CT —Pediatric vaccine clinics for eligible kids age 5 to 11 begin next week at the New Haven Health Department, located at 54 Meadow St.

The walk-up only clinics are scheduled for Tuesday. Nov. 16 and Thursday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Friday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Health officials say proof of insurance is requested, but it is not required: "No one without insurance will be denied a shot," it's noted.

A parent or guardian must accompany children to sign a consent form. Additional clinics are planned and will be announced at a later date.
