City Worker Arrested For Credit Card Fraud Sues City
She alleges that she was wrongfully terminated after her arrest.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Former City employee Bianca Bowles is suing the city for wrongful termination after she was fired following her arrest for alleged unauthorized city credit card use.
Bowles in her lawsuit said she wasn't rightfully paid her accrued vacation and sick time and wasn't given a Loudermill hearing to present her case, according to the New Haven Register.
City spokesman Laurence Grotheer told the Register that Bowles had transferred to a new city union when she changed positions and was still in her 90-day probationary period.
