Cops Investigating After Boy, 17, Shot Tuesday Night In New Haven: PD

The teen was shot at around 10 p.m. on Foote Street, between Adam Clayton Powell & John Daniels places and is in stable condition, per cops.

NEW HAVEN, CT —A 17-year-old boy was shot Tuesday night and is listed in stable condition, police said.

It was just after 10 p.m. when police got a call alerting them that a person had been shot on Foote Street, between Adam Clayton Powell Place and John Daniels Place, police spokesperson Scott Shumway said.

The teen was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital to be treated, Shumay said.

The New Haven police Bureau of Identification processed the scene, and Major Crimes Unit detectives are leading the investigation, he said.
