Cops Investigating After New Haven Man, 30, Shot On Chapel Street: PD
Shot on Chapel St. between Orchard & Beers at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, the man was being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Wednesday night, a 30-year-old New Haven was shot on Chapel Street, between Beers and Orchard streets, police said.
At around 9:30 p.m., cops got a 911 call about a shooting and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police spokesperson Officer Scott Shumway. Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, he's being treated for life-threatening injuries, he said.
The New Haven Police Department Bureau of Identification collected bullet evidence, and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation, Shumway said.
