Cops Saw A Gun Being Fired From A Car, Later Found Man, 23, Shot: PD
Task force cops saw the car on Foxon Blvd., near Quinnipiac Ave., Tuesday, but before losing sight, got a description of car and occupants.

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police task force officers saw someone firing a gun out of a moving vehicle on Foxon Boulevard at Quinnipiac Avenue Tuesday night around 6:30 p.m., spokesperson Scott Shumway said.
Those officers, he said, were able to "get a good description" of the car and its occupants before losing sight of it. A short time later, Shumway said, police got a call about a person shot on nearby Jackson Lane, less than a mile away from where cops witnessed the gunfire. There they found that a 23-year-old New Haven man had been struck by gunfire. The injured man was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting was found in Bridgeport and towed to the police garage for "processing," Shumway said.
