Cops Share Video Of A 'Suspect' Looking For Unlocked Cars In Driveway
East Haven police hope the video will lead to tips, but also to remind folks to always lock their cars, and most especially overnight.

EAST HAVEN, CT — IN an effort to encourage folks to ensure their cars are locked at all times, especially overnight, police released a video on Ring-camera surveillance from a residence on its Facebook page.
In the video clip, a person in a dark hoodie and what appears to be a face mask, is seen coming from an idling car at the end of a residential driveway.
They go up to one of two cars parked in a driveway. They check the door and finding it locked, go to the waiting car, and get in. It speeds off.

"East Haven residents,
Remember to lock those doors!! In an effort to help us prevent overnight thefts, be sure to set a NIGHTLY REMINDER to lock up at night! This simple, yet effective routine can prevent you from becoming the next victim of theft. If anyone has any more video of these suspects checking doors, please send them our way. This video is from a neighborhood in the north part of town near the North Haven town line.
