COVID-19 Cases Spike In New Haven Schools: From 39 to 75 In One Week
Two weeks ago, there were 38 cases, which had been climbing slowly but steadily from a low of just 13 a month ago, to 75 as of Friday.
NEW HAVEN, CT —There are 75 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Haven schools for the week ending May 6, according to schools' spokesperson Justin Harmon.
The case numbers had been steadily increasing over the past month, but in the single digits. On April 14, there were 38 cases. On April 29, there were 39. A week later, there are nearly twice that number.
