Dr. Henry Lee, Legendary and World-Famous Forensic Scientist Keynote Speaker at 139th Annual Banquet of the Knights of St. Patrick!
New Haven, Connecticut February 17, 2017 – Dr. Henry Lee will be the keynote speaker at the 139th Annual Banquet of the Knights of St. Patrick on Friday, March 17, 2017. Dr. Lee joined the University of New Haven’s Forensic Science program nearly four decades ago and helped build it into one of the top programs in the nation. He previously served as chief criminalist for the State of Connecticut and director of the Connecticut State Police Forensic Science Laboratory. He also serves as the editor of several academic journals and has authored or co-authored more than 30 books. The University’s Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences is named in his honor. And, the recently constructed, ultra-modern Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science building on UNH’s campus conducts advanced forensic research and trains law enforcement professionals from around the globe.
This tradition-laden St. Patrick’s Day event will be held at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT.
This annual dinner is a black-tie optional event! The Banquet is a long-standing and historic tradition in New Haven. The social hour begins at 6:00pm and the speaking program concludes at the end of the dinner presented by the renowned chefs of the New Haven Lawn Club. Tickets are $110 per person on or before March 1st and $125 after March 1st.

Founded in New Haven in 1878, The Knights of St. Patrick is a cultural, educational, nonsecular, nonprofit, charitable organization that helps promote the cultural traditions of Irish-Americans. The Knights host events throughout the year to salute individuals whose service or dedication to the Greater New Haven area, merit special recognition, such as Public Safety Night honoring local law enforcement and the fire department.
