FHCHC receives prestigious Quality Leader award - Again!
Recognized by HRSA for excellence in seven categories

For the third year in a row, Fair Haven Community Health Care (FHCHC) has been named a national Health Center Quality Leader by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA). This award recognizes all aspects of FHCHC’s comprehensive, culturally-sensitive health care services and particularly celebrates their patient-focused excellence and staff commitment. The announcement was made as part of National Health Center Week, which honors health centers around the country for their work on behalf of patients across the USA.
As a Quality Leader, Fair Haven achieved the best overall clinical performance among 1,352 health centers, placing in the top 30% of the adjusted quartile rankings for clinical quality measures. These Quality Improvement Awards recognize the highest performing health centers nationwide. Awards are also given to those health centers making significant quality improvement gains over the previous year. In total, HRSA awarded $192,750 to Fair Haven Community Health Care for excellence in seven categories.
Upon learning of the award, CEO Dr. Suzanne Lagarde praised FHCHC staff saying, "This award celebrates what we do every day at our health center and focuses on our high quality, patient-centered care. These funds will allow us to invest in additional staff training and IT enhancements, allowing us to further grow as a patient-centered medical home."
