UPDATE: Following East Rock Bomb Threat Report, Police Unit Sweep Finds No Bomb: NHPD
Turns out, Patch learned, that the threat came from the East Rock Brewery but wasn't a threat. It was a trivia team name suggestion. Yeah.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police posted to 'X' around 10 p.m. Wednesday that it had earlier responded to a bomb threat in the East Rock neighborhood.
Reported to be from the 200 block of Nichols Street, the report came from the East Rock Brewery. The police department's Hazardous Devices Unit "conducted a sweep of the premises for any potential explosive devices."
No explosive device was located, and the scene was released, police said.

But after a Patch request for more information, police spokesperson Officer Christian Bruckhart said, "The brewery was hosting a trivia night and it appears someone submitted something to the effect that there was a bomb in the building as a team name."
Bruckhart said that the team did not win trivia night.
