Former CT Doctor Found Dead In Georgia; Likely Attacked By Dogs
Officials believe the doctor, who had her residency in New Haven, was attacked by a pack of wild dogs.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A former Connecticut doctor was found dead in Georgia last week, according to multiple reports. Dr. Nancy Shaw, who practiced internal medicine at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Georgia, was found dead in a ditch early Thursday morning, according to WTOC in Georgia.
Officials with the Lyons Police Department told WTOC they believe that Shaw was killed by a pack of wild dogs. A patrol officer found a running car pulled over on the wrong side of the road with the door open around 3 a.m., WTOC reports. Shaw’s body was found in a ditch off the road.
Shaw had her residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven in the 1980s, according to the New Haven Register.
