Frank Pepe's New Pizza Alert: A Rustic Mushroom Pie For Autumn

For a limited time only, just how long wasn't revealed, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is sharing a "brand-new" Fall pizza.

The Rustic Mushroom Pizza, made with roasted mushrooms, mozzarella, ricotta, Pecorino Romano, Italian seasonings, garlic and olive oil, is available now at the original 1925 location on Wooster Street, and the other 11 locations throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.

Like all of Pepe’s nationally renowned pizzas, the Rustic Mushroom Pizza will be made with Frank Pepe’s signature crust, which features the perfect combination of crunch, char, and chew.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is nationally renowned for its handcrafted, Neapolitan-style pizza that gets baked in custom-built, coal-fired brick ovens. Pepe’s was recently rated the #1 Pizza in the U.S. by The Daily Meal, and The Guardian called it the “Best Pizza on Earth!” Master pizzaiolos use Frank Pepe’s original 1925 recipe, along with the freshest authentic ingredients, to re-create his world-renowned pies in brick-by-brick duplicates of his ovens, including iron castings from the original mold.
