Gateway Community College Announces Upcoming Events

Gateway Community College invites the community to attend a discussion on US intelligence and a cooking presentation and meal.

Gateway Community College Presents: The Yale@Gateway Speaker Series continues April 4 at 7:30 p.m. with Intelligence expert and Eli Whitney scholar Sam Hussain. The discussion is entitled "Understanding Emerging Threats: Challenges for the U.S. Intelligence Community." The event will be moderated by PBS Newshour’s Paul Solman in the Bill Curran Community Room (N100) at 20 Church Street, New Haven. The series is free and open to the public. Please join Gateway Community College on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. for the next installment of their Chefs Of Our Kitchen (C.O.O.K.) series, featuring Wiley Mullins, Founder and President of Fairfield’s Uncle Wiley’s Specialty Foods and author of “Salad Makes the Meal." Included in the ticket price is: a pre-event reception and meet-and-greet with the featured guest chef; a cooking demonstration by the chef; a three-course meal prepared by Gateway Culinary students under the chef’s direction; free parking; and an exciting take-away gift to remember your evening.
