Gateway Teacher Sexually Harassed Student: PD
He sent sexually explicit messages to his math student, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A part-time Gateway Community College math teacher was arrested after he sexually harassed an 18-year-old student, according to police.
The case came to police in November after the victim claimed she received sexually explicit text and Instagram messages from an unknown person, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. The victim wasn't sure who was sending the message, but suspected it was a classmate at school.
Detective Leonardo Soto investigated and pursued information from multiple sources with the help of Gateway Community College Police Department Sgt. Cary Broderick. James O'Toole, 44, of Cromwell was pinned as the person responsible, Hartman said.
