GCC Foundation Receives Gift to Fulfill Mission
The GCCF raises private funds to support the students, faculty and staff of Gateway Community College.

NEW HAVEN - The Gateway Community College Foundation (GCCF) got a needed boost recently from a $1,500 gift to underwrite the Foundation’s community report.
President James Zoldy and Vice President Thomas Beirne III, of Halsey Associates, along with Kathleen Ryan, Esq., Executive Vice President and Chief Wealth Management Officer of Washington Trust Wealth Management, presented a large check to the Gateway Community College Foundation. President of Gateway Community College Paul Broadie II, Ph.D., and the Dean of Development and Community Partnerships, Mary Ellen Cody, were thrilled to accept the donation. The GCCF raises private funds to support the students, faculty and staff of Gateway Community College.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Halsey Associates, a part of Washington Trust Wealth Management,” Cody said. “Halsey is a highly respected investment firm and it has a rich and longstanding history of supporting Gateway students and the Greater New Haven community. In addition to their generous annual scholarship donations, the funding of our Community Report will help us to celebrate the exciting work taking place at our College.”
