Halloran Sage, a full-service law firm with an office in downtown New Haven, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Gostyla has been named its new Managing Partner. Gostyla is the fifth managing partner in the firm’s 86-year history.
“This year marks the 10th year of our New Haven office. It’s an important milestone for our firm and I look forward to working with businesses and community leaders to continue to serve the community,” Gostyla said.

A Connecticut native, after attending Villanova University for his undergraduate career, Gostyla returned to his home state to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating cum laude. He joined Halloran Sage in 2001 and over his tenure, has held numerous leadership positions and established a prominent practice within the Litigation and Insurance groups—two pillars of the firm since its founding in 1935. Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, ERISA actions, fraud investigations, and professional liability matters are a few hallmarks of his practice. He has been consistently recognized by Super Lawyers® in the area of Insurance Law over the past decade.
Gostyla is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford County Bar Association and is a past president of the New Britain Bar Association. He is also the Past President of the Hartford Chapter of the Villanova University Alumni Association.
