Hamden Man Shot On Blake Street In New Haven Monday: Police
The 21-year-old, who police said was shot, and laying in the street, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Just before sunset Monday, shots rang out on Blake Street, leaving a Hamden man shot and laying on the street, police said.
New Haven police got a report of gunfire on the street between Whittlesey and Osborn avenues around 4:45 p.m., police spokesperson Scott Shumway said. Officers got there and found the 21-year-old man "struck by gunfire." He was soon taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police found bullets at the scene. The police Bureau of Identification "processed the scene" and bullets were found. New Haven police Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
