Hamden Pedestrian Killed In New Haven Crash
A motorcycle struck and killed a man Thursday night, according to police.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a motorcycle struck a pedestrian, killing the pedestrian and critically injuring the driver. According to a statement from police, two motorcycles were traveling north on Ferry Street at 7:14 p.m. Thursday when a pedestrian attempted to cross near Lombard Street.
One of the motorcycles struck and killed the pedestrian, a 48-year-old man from Hamden. The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man from New Haven, was hospitalized and remains in critical but stabled condition.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators are interested in speaking to additional witnesses.
