Hillhouse Still Ranked Best in Latest Boys Basketball Poll

The Academics received 16 of 19 first-place votes in the most recent balloting of Connecticut sports media members.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Hillhouse High School remained on top of the state high school boys basketball poll once again this week, collecting 16 of 19 first-place votes.

The Academics (16-0) are defending Class LL champions, and are one of three remaining unbeaten boys teams in the state.

Wilbur Cross (12-4) also received a considerable amount of votes, despite not cracking the top 10.

The top seven spots remained unchanged, with two new teams entering the lower third of the top 10.
