Hit-And-Run Driver Hides Behind Pizzeria: New Haven PD
The driver hit two pedestrians downtown and fled the scene, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A hit-and-run driver was found hiding behind a pizzeria, according to police.
Two pedestrians were hit near High and Elm streets shortly after 3 p.m., according to the New Haven Independent.
The operator drove away from the scene, but a witness tailed the vehicle and found it parked in Abate Pizza in Wooster Square.
