Hopkins Student Wins National Merit Scholarship

NEW HAVEN, CT — A Hopkins School student has been awarded a National Merit Scholarship.

Raymont Wang won the National Merit University of Maryland Scholarship. He intends to go into a career for robotic mechanical engineering.

Semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship competition make up less than one percent of graduating seniors. From there entrants have to complete a detailed application and about 7,500 are awarded scholarships.
