3 Lanes Closed On I-95 In New Haven Due To Major Accident
The accident was reported Tuesday evening.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer led to the closure of a portion of Interstate 95 southbound between exits 46 and 44 in New Haven for more than an hour Tuesday night.
The accident was reported at 5:45 p.m. In a 6:55 p.m. update, the state Department of Transportation said three right lanes are still closed.
And if you're considering Route 15 as a way to get home expect delays. Rt. 15 southbound is congested between Exits 60 and 59 or 3 miles.
