NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after suspicions that a city home contains hundreds of pounds in illegal explosives, according to police. Several bomb squads converged on a Westminster Street home Thursday.
The suspected amount of explosives inside could've destroyed several homes in the neighborhood if it were detonated, according to WTNH. A search warrant hadn't been executed as of mid Thursday afternoon and it isn't clear if arrests have been made yet.
